New Learning Modules: Starting Monday, April 13th VDS Classroom Teachers will be introducing new learning modules and taking attendance during the Community Meetings/Assets Lessons which will be taught live Monday - Thursday and attendance to these activities is required.

Graded Assignments: Activities should be done in a timely manner whenever possible. Teachers will be in communication about specific schedules, class times, and deadlines.

Office Hours: Teachers will be in communication regarding “office hours” during the school day and will detail their specific availability for their students. If these hours are not conducive/convenient, then responses to questions/concerns will be handled within a 24 hour window.

Expectations: Classroom Teachers will be working closely with the Education Director and Department Leads to ensure consistency of expectations as developmentally appropriate. Instruction will be modified and/or accommodated to meet individual learning needs and outcomes.

All Grades: 4 hours of daily activities (Math, RELA, SS, Sci, Specials) will be provided Monday-Thursday.

Learning Platforms: Google Classroom.

Tech Support: Offered Monday-Friday 8am-3pm via helpdesk@valleyday.org or 866-6VALLEY ext. 2.

Supplemental Supports: Scheduled directly with each family (as necessary).

Attendance: 1st missed login = Paraprofessional will call; 3 missed logins in 1 week = Clinical Team will call; After 3 Clinical touch base calls, Ms. Chapman, Truancy Liaison, will contact household & notify school district of absences and next steps.
