Class overview 📖

My class is structured around reading, and writing with the content being Social Studies.  We do a lot of reading comprehension and a lot of writing based off of what we are learning about in each unit.

7th Grade is US History starting from the Gilded Age and going all the way until the present day.  It also has a very strong focus on Geography.

8th Grade mostly focuses on Government and Economics. We start the year with the founding of our country and go all the way through until Jackson's presidency. They we do a huge Government unit, a small Geography unit, and then a huge Economics Unit.
