About Me

Hi There!

Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Mrs. Briscoe and I'm so excited to be your child's 1st grade teacher this year! I am a current Valley parent and have been for 5 years! I have 3 kids who are currently students with one who will join in a couple of years! I was a full time substitute last year working all grades from Pre-K to 8th Grade! I graduated ASU with a Bachelors in Global Leadership w/an emphasis in Computer Systems, Accounting and an International Business Certificate. I've worked with elementary aged children in various capacities for over 15 years! I have a passion for learning that I have instilled in my own children. I love working with early elementary specifically because I love seeing their love for learning grow! I am excited to watch your child grow in their educational journey! I want all of my students to know they are loved and that with three things they will be successful each day no matter the circumstances: Work Hard, Try Your Best, Be Kind

Fun Facts about Mrs. Briscoe:

This one's not actually about me but about my husband. My husband, Josh, was actually a student here from 3rd through 8th grade back near when the school began, almost 30 years ago. (I feel old) I have 4 children: Sam (4th grade), Bethany (2nd grade), Jordyn (Pre-K), Mark (2). If you come before school early enough, you're bound to see one of them in my classroom. I enjoy reading (sometimes multiple books at a time), listening to music, doing puzzles (either puzzle boards, logic puzzles, or crossword puzzles), dancing, or just watching TV with my family.
