This class will rarely have assigned homework as most work is completed in class. If the work is not completed in class then it will be sent home for the student to finish.
When homework is assigned it will be posted on the lesson plan and a note will be sent home.
Students are more than welcome to complete I-ready at home.
I strongly encourage students to read independently at home.
If you are absent you are expected to pick up an absent folder and complete the missing tasks. You will have the amount of days absent to make up the work plus an additional 48 hours. For example if you missed four days you will get 6 days to complete the missing work. Every day late after that will result in a one point deduction from your final score. If you know that you will be absent (ex. doctors appointment or vacation), you may pick up your work beforehand.
If you miss school it is your responsibility to ask the teacher what you have missed.

Keep your space and supplies tidy.
Respect others- this includes their space and property.
Complete your own work and do your best.
No gum.
No hats or hoods on in the building.
No smart watches, cell phones, wireless headphones, or wireless earbuds allowed in the classroom.
If you bring electronics to school, they must be turned off and stored in your locker during school hours.
No students in the building before the 7:55am bell rings, unless you have a scheduled appointment with a teacher.
Have a positive attitude and be ready to learn.
