I attended Willowcreek Elementary School as a student 1st-8th grade. Some of my favorite activities when I was in school were the outdoor field trips, musical programs, and of course the Huntington Tournament. I want to help students get the same opportunities for success I had.

After attending Willowcreek I was able to attend Vale High School where I participated in sports, FFA, student government and many of the clubs offered.

After high school I attended Ricks College for a year to earn my associates degree and then transferred to Utah State University where I earned my Bachelors degree in Polictical Science Education with a minor in Speech Education.

My first teaching job was in Idaho Falls High School teaching speech and debate. That same year we moved back to Vale to farm and started our family. I have three kids and it has been a privilege to raise my family and teach in the same community I grew up in.
