DRESSING OUT
To ensure safety, personal hygiene, and ease of movement, comfort, and performance students are expected to dress out each day in their Huskies clothes. No pockets in the shorts or sweatpants are allowed. PE clothes should be stored in the student’s locker Monday through Thursday. Clothes should be brought home and washed over the weekend.
-Husky T-shirt with the GMS logo
-Husky Hoodies or long sleeve t-shirts with GMS Logo
-Blue shorts (no pockets are allowed)with the GMS logo/Leggings under allowed
-Blue/Grey or Black sweats or leggings are allowed.
-Socks
-Athletic shoes (No slip-on shoes, including crocs. Shoes must have laces and be tied, No skateboard shoes, non-marking.)
Students may also wear a sweatshirt OVER their PE shirt if we go outside. Due to safety, the sweatshirt must be a pullover that has no buttons or zippers on it. GMS Sweatshirts are best.
1. PE clothes must be labeled with your first name and last initial, in the space provided. Use a permanent ink marker.
2. Graffiti, advertisements, obscenities missing sleeves, or neck ribbing is unacceptable. Students are expected to replace the damaged shirt or shorts with a new set of PE clothes.
3. Undergarments should not be seen. THIS MEANS NO SAGGING OF SHORTS.
4. PE clothes need to be laundered weekly.
5. 1 set of PE clothes are available for each student. You may purchase a second set for $7.50
A student that does not dress out
1st nondress student is issued loaner clothes
2nd nondress out - student is issued loaner clothes
3rd non dress out Parent notification/student is issued loaner clothes, student runs a mile for makeup
4th non dress out Parent Conference/possible referral
Loaner Clothes Are Available- students will still participate in class activities.
