What is the Vail School District Hour of Code?

Annually the Vail School District hosts an event for Computer Science Night. This year we invite you to participate in our Hour of Code to kick start Computer Science Education Week.

It is evident that technology is integrated in many of our daily tasks, and it is never too early to learn how that technology actually works! Coding and programming are skills that can be taught even in early elementary schools to pre-readers, and they are skills that can evolve and develop as students learn more throughout the years. We hope you will join us in our Virtual Hour of Code, whether you are brand new to coding or if you have a few programming tricks already up your sleeve!
