Field School Prerequisites

You need to have successfully completed one introductory level anthropology or archaeology course prior to enrolling in the field school. Additional courses in anthropology, history, geology, or paleontology are strongly preferred. 

Application and Enrollment Info

• 1. Complete the Field School Application (below) by March 10th to be considered for the 2023 season. Applications are now closed

  2. Once you have received an email Dr. Bree admitting you to the field school, you will need to:

     • If you are not a U.W. student, apply for "non-degree undergraduate" admission to the University of Wyoming and pay the admission fee.

     • Formally register for the the course. Registration is handled through WyoWeb (see the Registrar's website for more information on registration). You will need to email the Anthropology Department for permission to register for the course.

     • UW tuition will be charged to you UW student account by or after April 15, 2023. These will need to be paid for by no later than May 15, 2023.
