I am originally from Brooklyn, New York but I have lived in Oshkosh since 1989. I call myself a "community minded" professor, and served two elected terms on the Oshkosh City Council, including a year as Deputy Mayor. All of my courses encourage students to become active and engaged on issues that matter to them.
My spouse Lori Palmeri is the 54th District (Oshkosh) Assembly Representative in the State Legislature. We have two adult children (Amber and Dan), and two adult grandchildren (Elan and Ava). We live in an over 100-year-old house in Oshkosh with our cool and very spoiled cat Ozzy.
