Class Descriptions:

ASL for Beginners: learn quick alphabet and some basic conversational signs.

Basics on Essentials Oils: learn about essential oils, how to use them, and how to tell the differences between oils.

Beauty and the Bees: learn about the value of honey bees, what is threatening them, and what you can do to help them. I will also include a little basic information on beekeeping.

Blue Jean Nation: learn how Blue Jean Nation works to transform democratic institutions that are failing America and reinvigorate our republic through community outreach, civic education and engagement, grassroots organizing, and public policy advocacy and social action.

Boxing: learn basic boxing, kickboxing, and self defense techniques/skills. ** We will provide gloves and pads**

Citizens' Climate Lobby Oshkosh Chapter: gain information about the Citizens' Climate Lobby and its support of a national carbon fee and dividend to move our country away from its dependence on fossil fuel and towards renewable energy.

Chilean culture: A short talk about Chile, its culture and home University.

Creative Writing: Write With Your Voice, Write on the Wild Side!

Geology club: introductory geology lab with common earth minerals.

Going Zero Waste: learn about how one can reduce their personal carbon footprint and lessen the amount of waste they produce. Going Zero Waste is a popular movement that includes finding permanent alternatives for typically disposable things in our daily lives.

How to make Hommos at home: learn how to make authentic Middle Eastern Hommos from scratch.

Kickboxing: Engage in a cardiovascular workout with a blend of Tai kwon do, muay thi, boxing, karate and athletic moves to upbeat fun music.

Korean martial art of Hapkido: learn the traditional self-defense techniques of Hapkido for real world application.

Poetry Lotto: learn how to play with words and make poetry.

Sustainable Landscaping on Campus: learn about what plants and practices we use on campus that bring about positive changes for our students and staff. As well as how we are going forward in the coming two years to make this campus a chemical free outdoors.

Taekwondo: learn beginners level taekwondo, a Korean Martial Art of self defense.

Thailand: the land of smile: learn about Thai culture, attraction and history. As well as the educational anticipation for sustainability.

Touch Tank: a touch tank with denizens of local waterways to give children (and adults) a "hands on" educational experience.

What's Out There? : learn about awareness, belonging, fitting in and involvement in the life of The Environment.
