Dedi Rahman Nur was born in Samarinda, and graduated his English Undergraduate degree and Master degree English Education Program at Mulawarman University. From 2014 until now, He is permanent Lecturer in University of Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Department of English Education. Beside as Lecturer, He is also active active in several journals as an editor and reviewer namely at;
