Sheryl Tayal is a student from India currently studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at United World Colleges, Atlantic. She has spent most of her life in India, but has travelled around the world from a young age and then transitioning into an international learning environment has provided her with a unique perspective about identity, belongingness and adapting to change across a diversity of cultures and communities.

She is the Founder and CEO of Astitva Teens, a youth-led initiative focused on educating teenagers about identity and inclusion. Through workshops, conversations, and advocacy, the organization aims to foster safer and more inclusive spaces within schools where young people feel seen, heard, and respected.

Inspired by her own experiences with transition, comparison, and the pressure to fit in, Sheyl explores the emotional weight teenagers often carry silently and concludes by encouraging speakers to be their true, authentic self.
