Ms. Sarafina Mandevhu, UWC student N 4106462, project is being completed, title: Dolerite sills within iron ore of Maremane Dome (Northern Cape, South Africa) as possible time markers and stratigraphic control units. The project was funded by the NRF-DSI CIMs|aERA. The thesis is submitted for examination. Mandevhu is working in Rosh Pinah mine, Namibia.
Ms. Alina Davletshina (IGG UB RAS), co-supervised, project completed in 2024 Magna Cum Laude, title: Microscopy and microanalyses of shocked zircon phase with microdeformations from Kara and Vredefort impact craters. Ms. Davletshina is a Ph.D. candidate at the IGG UB RAS.
Mr. Floyd Mautle, UWC student N 4116434, co-supervised, completed in 2022 with Magna Cum Laude, title: Petrography and geochemistry of the Vredefort proximal ejecta. The project was funded by Boart Longyear. Mautle is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
