Please bring the following supplies with you for the workshop. This builds your own plant propagation toolbox, too!
Large rectangular laundry basket or other similar container-- big enough to hold a 10x20inch flat of plants plus extra 4" round pots (5 or 6)
Large garbage bag (big enough to fit around the laundry basket, preferably clear)
Rooting hormone (powdered only, not liquid; over-the-counter type available at most garden centers and hardware stores)
Small, clean container (such as a film canister- remember what those are?! or an empty prescription bottle)
Pruning shears, knife, scissors, razor blades, and other items you may use for cutting plant materials
A cutting board
Band-Aids (hope you don't need these)
A spray bottle for water
Spray disinfectant, such as Lysol. DO NOT BRING BLEACH! You can use a 10% bleach solution at home, but the smell and tight working area makes it less than ideal for the workshop.
Pencil
Extra supplies will be on hand during the workshop.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for gardening indoors.
Moving around, carrying light objects, and standing are part of this workshop. Uncomfortable stools are available for sitting.
