Introduction to Thermodynamics and Cloud Processes (UW ATM S 340; Winter 2021, 2022): Overview of dry and moist atmospheric thermodynamics, as well as cloud microphysics, for undergraduate atmospheric science majors.
Ecological Climatology (UW ATM S 350; Autumn 2019): Course focused on the connections between ecosystems and climate including physical, chemical and biological interactions.
Exploring the Atmospheric Sciences (UW ATM S 220; Spring 2019, Summer 2020): Seminar exposes students to the breadth of research topics in the atmospheric sciences and their applications through a series of guest lectures from faculty, post-docs, research staff and graduate students.
The Changing Oceans (UW OCEAN 102; Winter 2019): Online hybrid class introducing students to the global climate system and environmental challenges through the lens of oceanography
Global Warming: Understanding the Issues (UW ATM S 111: Autumn 2016): Introduces the scientific foundations of climate change, its impact on both natural and human systems and begins exploring potential solutions.
