(June 2022) I talk about my experiments with salty, wet Mars dirt, the Perseverance Rover's search for life on Mars, and how to think like an exovironmentalist to create a more just future for everyone in space.
(2021) I joined UW Alumni Elena Amador-French (NASA) and Ken Williford (JPL) and fellow UW graduate students Yuk Chun Chen and Trent Thomas to discuss the possibility of life on Mars.
Watch me talk about my research on the elusive role that water plays on Mars.
Engage teaches cutting-edge science communication skills to graduate students. I served on the Board of Directors for Engage from 2020-2025, and was the instructor of record for the class Communicating Science to the Public Effectively (C ENV 500) in Winter 2021.
Rockin' Out is a K-12 outreach program run by graduate students in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington. Through hands-on demonstrations and lessons, we inspire students to explore their curiosity and pursue their interests in STEM.
