6/23/2025: Our paper, "An accessible planar charged particle trap for experiential learning in quantum technologies", has been published in the American Journal of Physics! See our video abstract below.
5/28/2024: Last Month, Robert Thomas showed off QT3's pollen trap to Congress and staffers on Capitol Hill in an event organized by the NSF. Read more about it here.
1/24/2024: Today, the first paper enabled by the QT3 lab, "Creation of color centers in diamond by recoil implantation through dielectric films", was published in Applied Physics Letters. Congrats to Asher Han and the rest of the team! This was a serendipitous discovery made while developing our process for fabricating solid immersion lenses in diamond.
10/16/2023: Enrique's work on the diamond quantum processor was featured in a showcase of UW College of Engineering summer research.
