Food donation tabling will be happening outside of the Alder (West campus) District Market, Monday and Wednesday 1pm-4pm
CLOTHING Donation Bins:
Currently located at: the ASUW office at the HUB
The UW Food Pantry is currently in need of the following:
Canned vegetables, Canned fruit, Canned meats (salmon, chicken, tuna), Canned tomatoes, Canned soup, Chili
Stocks, broths, bases, and sauces of all kinds
Food appropriate for diverse diets, including halal, kosher, gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.
Pasta sauce, Cooking oils
Oatmeal and granola, Boxed mac + cheese, other ready-to-eat meals
Boxed milk, evaporated milk, and unsweetened alternative milks
Fruit preserves and spreads, Jars of baby food
Feminine hygiene products
Household Item (e.g. bar soap, toilet paper, paper towels)

These donors are not done yet! We are working to set up more donations!
We have been fundraising! And have had sucess, raising money to purchase tents for TC3!

H4H and REP collaborated to host a panel on volunteering and community engagement, including memebrs from: Teen feed, the Elizabeth gregory home, UW Food pantry, & REP.
We hosted a panel with local mutual aid organizations, and learned about how we can organize events that are meaningful and can hep support people experiencing homelessness around us.
We also had a pop-up art gallery in the quad. This art gallery feature paintings and sculptures from members of TC3 and other unhoused individuals in out community. We raised funds through optional donation to be able to further support TC3!
We have also done numerous food and clothing donation bins throughout the quarter, with bins located throughout campus. Check above or our instagram for where we might have bins now!
In Spring of 2025, H4H collabed with SCPH and CCm to orchestrate a clothing donation event!
Art made by the community members of Tent City 3, the KCRHA Lived Experience Coalition and UW students around the themes of homelessness. Understand the lived experiences of those in the streets and create community connections.
Art instalations made by poeple with lived experiences on the streets as well as UW students. Converse with community members around art and better understand the root causes of homelessness from a first hand experience
Gathering of second hand clothing for community members in need of warm clothes in preparation for the winter months.
