The HAS Lab conducts both 1) fundamental research to advance understanding and modeling of human performance using physiological recordings and 2) applied research to design safe, efficient, and satisfactory work systems. The major application domains of our research include healthcare and cyberlearning.

August 2022. Our collaborative work with Dr. Huang's team "Discovery of multimodal biomarkers of ADHD using eye movement and EEG data: A rule-based exploratory analysis approach" is accepted for publication in the IISE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering.
May 2022. Tianchen received an honorable mention in the doctoral colloquium dissertation pitch at the 2022 IISE conference.
