Accepting applications for 4 different post-graduate OT fellowship programs in the areas of Assistive Technology, Hand Therapy, Mental Health, and Neurorehabilitation. These one-year fellowships start in August 2026. A fellowship helps OT practitioners develop specialty clinical skills to propel their careers forward. Fellowships include mentorship, academic learning (didactics) in the specialty area, clinical practice, and purposeful observations/experiences. Our fellowship programs are fully accredited by AOTA.
Assistive Technology OT Fellowship Program
The fellow will spend time learning and treating patients in our Assistive Technology Rehabilitation Program. The fellowship will include experiences in the Adaptive Sports Clinic, Seating and Mobility Clinic, Driver’s Training/ Rehabilitation Clinic, and Spinal Cord Injury Homecare Clinic.
Hand Therapy OT Fellowship Program
The fellow will spend time working with patients with a diverse range of upper extremity conditions/diagnosis. The fellow will provide care in the outpatient setting, and in the Hand/Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic. Ages of the population span across adulthood.
Mental Health OT Fellowship Program
The fellow will spend time learning about and treating patients with various mental health conditions to include substance use/behavioral addictions, chronic pain, adjustment to disability, trauma related disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. Services are provided both in inpatient and outpatient settings. One will gain skills in group and individual therapy. Fellows will become skilled in evidence-based interventions in mental health to include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, life skills, and lifestyle redesign. Career mentorship is included to help fellows find jobs in mental health occupational therapy after their fellowship experience.
Neurorehabilitation OT Fellowship Program
The fellow will spend time learning and treating patients in our Polytrauma and Spinal Cord Injury Centers. The fellowship will include experiences in the Spinal Cord Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation Program, Spinal Cord Injury Homecare and Outpatient Clinics, Polytrauma Brain Injury Inpatient Program, and the Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program.
