Engineering & Oceanography Australia: Autonomous and Robotic Observations of Marine Ecosystems

This program in Summer A-Term 2022 is taught on the campus of Queensland University of Technology in sunny Brisbane, Australia. Students conduct research on underwater robotics used in biological monitoring of ocean waters.

The program is co-sponsored by UW LSAMP, the College of Engineering, and the Department of Oceanography

Summer 2022 Program Updates

The scheduled program dates for the 2022 program will be mid-June to mid-June 2022. The final program dates and the program application page will be available soon on this site.

The anticipated application deadline will be January 31, 2022.

COVID-19 Updates

Program staff will be working with UW Study Abroad to ensure that the program will be able to run safely based on the expected public health guidelines and travel regulations in Australia and the US during the program dates. Students with active applications for the program will be notified about any updates to the program with regard to health and safety.
