Pack Forest Conference Center is like a summer camp for grown-ups. There are a variety of sleeping arrangements spanning individual rooms in small houses with semi-private bathrooms to multi-bed bunk houses with shared bathrooms. The mattresses are comfortable and the bedding is quite nice, but overall you should expect ... rustic accommodations. The conference organizers will assign participants to beds based on data collected in the application form. For instance, some beds are only comfortable for people below a certain height, and we will endeavor to respect preferences for same-gender rooms. Â Accessible housing and bathing options for attendees with disabilities are available. There are innumerable constraints to consider in making assignments, so we humbly request your flexibility in accepting the arrangement assigned to you.
As an alternative, there are a limited number of rooms available at a motel that is a 10 minute drive from Pack Forest in nearby Eatonville. If you prefer this option, you can indicate this preference on the application form. This option will cost more and you will be responsible for your own transportation (it is not safe to walk from the motel to the conference center). Due to the limited availability, we cannot guarantee this option; in the event of more interest than there are rooms available, these accommodations will be assigned by a lottery.
Pets and smoking are not permitted at Pack Forest. These prohibitions will be strictly enforced.
