The Careers in Genomics Symposium highlights diverse research topics in genomics and research opportunities for aspiring scientists. This symposium is geared towards any early career or aspiring scientists with an interest in genomics.
Research talks will highlight early-career research being conducted by early career researchers in the Genome Sciences Department. The symposium will conclude by highlighting paid research opportunities, a career panel discussion with a diverse group of scientists, and a closing reception with refreshments.
We welcome undergraduates from research and community colleges, high school students, and anyone thinking about pursuing a career in genomics.
We welcome attendees to join us in person in South Foege Hall Auditorium S064 at the University of Washington campus in Seattle. Alternatively interested parties can attend remotely online (Zoom), or view session recordings after the symposia.
