The 6th installment of the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge is starting in September 2021. The mission hasn't yet been announced, but stay tuned!

The Canadian Cubesat Project is an initiative brought forward by the Government of Canada to increase the interest and skills of Canadian students in space technology. It provides teams of professors and students the funding and experties to design and build their own cube satellite.

ORCASAT is a collaboration between UVic and UBC to develop a 2U cubesat as part of this initiative. It is scheduled for launch in Q2 of 2022.
