The Restorative Justice Process
The aggressor is pulled in to RJC and asked the following:
What happened and what were you doing at the time?Â
What were you thinking at the time?
What have you thought about since?
Who has been affected by what you have done?
What do you think needs to be done to make things as right as possible?
This process happens next with the victim/target.
If all parties, or those mainly involved, agree to a restorative conversation, I will set up a restorative conference.
The entire process can take several hours or a couple of days depending on if either party was suspended at home.
Restoratives include follow up check-ins and goal setting
