Sobre mí

Estoy muy contenta de ser nuevamente maestra de cuarto y quinto grado. Enseñar es mi pasión, y después de más de 25 años en la educación, sigo disfrutando cada nuevo año escolar y todo lo que aprendemos juntos. Mi meta es crear un salón donde cada estudiante se sienta valorado, apoyado y motivado a aprender y crecer.

Nací en Lima, Perú, y tuve la oportunidad de asistir a una escuela bilingüe, una experiencia que ha influido mucho en mi trayectoria como educadora. Estudié en Sonoma State University, donde obtuve mi licenciatura en Estudios Liberales con concentración en Matemáticas y mi credencial de enseñanza con autorización bilingüe. También tengo una maestría en Educación con enfoque en Currículo y Tecnología.

Mi esposo y yo tenemos cuatro hijos adultos y cuatro maravillosos nietos: dos niños de 6 y 1 año, y dos niñas de 2 y 3 años. Disfruto mucho pasar tiempo con mi familia y, por supuesto, ¡ser abuela es una de mis mayores alegrías!

Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar este nuevo año y de trabajar junto con nuestros estudiantes y familias para que sea un año lleno de aprendizaje, crecimiento y experiencias inolvidables.

About Me

I am very happy to once again be teaching fourth and fifth grade. Teaching is my passion, and after more than 25 years in education, I still look forward to each new school year and everything we will learn together. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and motivated to learn and grow.

I was born in Lima, Peru, and had the opportunity to attend a bilingual school, an experience that has greatly influenced my journey as an educator. I attended Sonoma State University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Mathematics and my teaching credential with a bilingual authorization. I also hold a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Technology.

My husband and I have four adult children and four wonderful grandchildren: two boys, ages 6 and 1, and two girls, ages 2 and 3. I love spending time with my family, and, of course, being a grandmother is one of my greatest joys!

I am very excited to begin another school year and to work together with our students and families to make it a year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences.
