United Tribes Technical College's Environmental Science department, in collaboration with the Intertribal Research and Resource Center, organized the event through their dedication and efforts.
The 11th Annual Tribal College Research Symposium hosted approximately 100 registrants, including students, faculty, and community members. It was a valuable opportunity to observe the impressive research conducted by tribal college students within their communities. Additionally, the event provided an excellent platform for networking and community building to support and empower Native students in STEM fields!
The tribal college research symposium included participation from 13 colleges and universities, with 8 of these institutions being Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs).
We had representation from 13 different tribal nations, which is truly empowering and highlights the impactful work happening within Native communities.
