"The most common element in all Traditional Indigenous creation stories is the beginning of the fundamental relationship between what we call Mother Earth and our survival. We celebrate the elemental gifts of Turtle Island- air, water, earth, and sun- and all life that comes from it. With this trail, we also celebrate relatives you may encounter along the way including plants and grasses, animals, trees, rocks, and insects. We hope you take the time to reflect on these gifts and observe your relationship with them as your walk."
