Join Firefly

Staff artists create accompanying art for the written submission they choose. They are encouraged to work with the writers so the art is cohesive with the written piece, but all other artistic decisions are up to them. This position is open to all grades.

The position of Editor is equivalent to becoming an executive for Firefly.

The Editors are responsible for editing each staff writer’s piece, drafting Firefly advertisements, and issue layouting, through planning meetings and sending out Firefly-related emails. They may also choose to continue or take on a writer/artist role. In addition to being competent writers or artists, they must be organized and reliable editors. 

This position is open to M3 - S5's, and editors are expected to hold their position until graduation from UTS.

Staff writers will regularly create their own written pieces, receive feedback, and have their piece included in each issue of Firefly. They work closely with the Editors and their work is integral to the publication of each issue. This position is open to all grades.
