Practical Information

• Workshop location: The workshop will be held at University of Technology Business School: UTS, Building 8, Platform 14/28, Ultimo Road, Ultimo NSW 2007

• Hotels nearby: Most of the hotels in the CBD are within walking distance of the workshop location. However, the closest hotels are Novotel Sydney Central , Mercure Sydney, The Old Claire Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Central Park.

• Public transportation: Central train station is the closest to UTS at Broadway. It is also the location for the Central Light Rail station, and the Eddy Avenue and Railway Square bus interchanges. For more details on available services, purchasing Opal Card (alternatively, you can use a credit card to use public transport), time tables and approximate costs please visit Transport NSW .

• Taxi services to the UTS business school from the airport: A cab from the airport to the CBD cost approximately $40 to $50 AUD. 

• Visa application: Please remember that if you are coming to Australia from overseas you will probably need a visa. This process is relatively straightforward for most nationalities; in most cases, it only takes 24 hours to process. If you need an official invitation, please let us know as soon as possible.

• Time zone: Sydney’s time zone is Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), GMT+10.
