Co-organized by the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and the Johor State Forestry Department (JPNJ), this conference is centered on the theme "Advancing Sustainable Forest Management in the Era of Artificial Intelligence."

Prof. Dr. Toshinori Okuda

Prof Dr Toshinori Okuda is a highly regarded expert in forest ecology, specifically recognized for his extensive contributions to the study of tropical forest including Malaysia. He is the Emiritus Professor at the Hiroshima University  in Japan. 

Tuan Mohd Syahrir Azrin bin Salleh 

YBrs. Tuan Mohd Syahrir Azrin bin Salleh is the Director of the Johor State Forestry Department. In this capacity, he leads the national efforts in the sustainable management, conservation and protection of Johor’s forest resources. His leadership supports stronger collaboration among government agencies, academic institutions, industry partners and local communities in advancing sustainable forestry and conservation.
