2025–2026 UT PLAYS applications close March 31. Apply for the 2026–2027 cohort starting April 1.
Applications Available
The UT PLAYS Initial Licensure Program will accept applications as space allows. If you check the application and we are not accepting at the time, please email or check back later for a time period when it will reopen.
The UT PLAYS Additional Licensure Programs will accept applications until we have reached capacity. We will gather program and information on a monthly basis and close when we have reached the maximum number of participants that can be served well.
Application Deadline Notice: Applications for the 2025–2026 cohort will close on March 31, 2026.
Beginning April 1, applications will be accepted for the 2026–2027 cohort and this cohort will begin on May 1, 2026.

Complete this application if:
You do not have a current teaching license
You have a bachelor's degree
You have a position in a school and are looking to be licensed
You would like to become a licensed Special Education or Secondary Mathematics teacher
ADDITIONAL ENDORSEMENT APPLICATION
ADDITIONAL ENDORSEMENT APPLICATION
Complete this application if:
You have an active academic teaching license
You would like to pursue an additional endorsement in Special Education or Secondary Mathematics
