Favorite Plant? I’ll have to say roses are my favorite. I have no luck with them though.
What advice would you give to a new gardener? Don’t give up. If you don’t succeed at first keep trying
What was your first gardening “success”?
Vice President: Carolyn Perez
Favorite Plant? One I can’t kill! 😎 sedum is probably my favorite - all varieties.
What advice would you give to a new gardener? Less is More
What was your first gardening “success”? Growing my veggie garden and actually being able to eat and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
Secretary: Mary Rippy
Favorite Plant? Almost anything that flowers. But buttercups and roses probably top the list. Buttercups because they herald spring and roses because they make me smile.
What advice would you give to a new gardener? Make friends with experienced gardeners that you can call with questions.
What was your first gardening “success”? After over 40 years in the city, where I grew my first garden with green beans, zucchini, squash, corn, tomatoes, and okra. Managed to preserve some for the winter months.
Treasurer: Richard Cole
Favorite Plant? Roses
What advice would you give to a new gardener? Make twice as much compost as you think that you need.
What was your first gardening “success”? Tomatoes
