The Spring 2018 Finite Element Circus

The Spring 2018 Finite Element Circus took place at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville on March 16-17.

Meeting Place and Schedule

We met in the Science and Engineering Research Facility (SERF) Auditorium, Room 307. Directions can be found below.

The Friday session began at 2 PM and the Saturday session began at 9 AM.

A light breakfast was provided on Saturday at 8:30 AM. A complementary lunch was served on Saturday around noon in the Mathematics Department, which is located in the historic Ayres Hall.

Circus Dinner

The dinner took place in Calhoun's on the River, and was a buffet option.

Accomodations

A block of thirty (30) rooms for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Downtown Knoxville, at the rate of $98+tax. The hotel is walking distance from campus. To make a reservation, you need to use the code FEC, at this link.
