The intern training website is the hub for all things related to training. Make sure you are familiar with the website and its components. Each week's page is divided into 4 sections:
Introduction
Before watch the lecture, interns should read the chapter(s), watch the pre-lecture module, and complete the self-paced activity.
Guiding questions have been provided for interns to consider as they work through the content.
Lecture
All lecture recordings will be here. Interns should watch the lecture before coming to class for the hands-on component.
Supplemental Materials
This content is not required but is fun extra information for those that want it.
Check your knowledge.
This section is made up of case study questions that interns should ponder after lecture. It is a good idea to review these and be prepared to discuss them with the group if they want or if time allows.
While the foundational instruction is provided for you, the experiential, interactive portion is handled locally.
The Facilitation Guide provides suggested activities for each week, but you may utilize local talent and sites in lieu of them.
Utilize local volunteers or other partners such as NRCS to lead the activities listed in the guide or other experiences.
