The wired headset in the studio runs through Steam VR. Launch Steam, and then Launch your chosen VR Game from Steam. If there are any issues, try restarting the computer or contact DFL@utk.edu
The wireless headsets (Meta Quest 2 & 3) use the Meta platform/ storefront to launch VR games and Apps.

Getting started recording video in the DFL using OBS. You can also use the software of your choice to record and/or stream. For video inputs: Look for the "Elgato 4K" as the video input (after turning on the Canon R5C camera). For Audio inputs (the Electrovoice Microphone): Look for the 'Scarlett..." or "Analog" in your software settings.
Green screening in backgrounds from your computer. The green screen works sort of like a second monitor, so these could be slides from a slideshow, a video, etc. Combining green screening with the fluorescent glass markers, users can mark up their digital slides in real time.
3D Scanning with the desktop scanner in the DFL (Note: this is research equipment and should only be used with permission).
