Welcome to our Church

We are not just a church, but a faith community and we invite you to come be a part of it. As a United Methodist Church our Mission is to "Make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World." Here at Utica UMC we seek to live out our purpose and mission through three distinct areas: Our Love towards God, Our Love towards our Neighbor, and by Serving the World who may not fully know the love of God for them and the power of His Word.

Loving God

Both in the Old and New Testaments we are told to love the Lord our God with all Our Heart, Mind, Soul. (Matthew 22:37)

We believe God made us that we might know Him and be known by Him in a loving relationship with Him. We do this in the way that we worship Him and seek after Him both inside the Church and out.

Loving Others

Jesus gives us second commandment to Love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39)

We do this by supporting and praying for each other - especially those who are either a part of the life of our church or that God leads us to throughout our daily lives.

Serving the World

We believe that we are made on purpose with a purpose.

We find Jesus sending His disciples out to share His love and good news with the world the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and by teaching His disciples that by serving the least of people in the world, we serve God (Matthew 25:40)

Sunday School: (Labor Day through Memorial Day)

Worship Celebration: Sundays @ 9:00 a.m. (starting June 8th, 2025)

Summer Worship Schedule: Memorial Day through Labor Day we worship among God's beautiful creation in our outdoor Sanctuary (weather Dependent).

**No Sunday School during the Summer Season.

A dynamic worship celebration that lasts about 75 minutes

What to Wear:

You don't have to dress up or look a certain way. Feel free to wear jeans, shorts and a t-shirt, a suit or a dress, etc... You don't have to be a particular age either! This is a place where God meets people right where they are, who aren't perfect, in any life stage, in any part of their spiritual journey. We are simply here to meet God.

At each Utica UMC Worship Celebration, you'll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with spirit-filled singing of contemporary and traditional music, and messages that will change and challenge you to have a deeper connection with God. You'll find new ways to apply biblical truths that are easy to understand and never dull to hear. Our service is an upbeat time of celebration and sincere worship and we know you will experience just that.

Our Nursery is staffed by volunteers who are fully committed to teaching and ministering to your children. You can be confident that your child is well cared for and having a great time learning about God at the same time you are. All of our staff and volunteers undergo reference and background checks prior to serving.
