Welcome to Education for Employment System 185
The Quad City Career and Technical Education Consortium (QCCTEC) is a collaborative partnership formed by a joint agreement among 16 high school districts across Rock Island, Henry, Mercer, and Stark counties in Illinois.
Established in 2007 through the merger of two regional vocational education systems, QCCTEC is governed by a Board of Control made up of superintendents from each member district.
QCCTEC works to ensure that all students have access to high-quality Career and Technical Education (CTE).
The consortium manages state and federal resources, supports program and curriculum development, offers professional development for educators, assists with technology and equipment updates, and helps connect K–12 education with postsecondary institutions and employers.
QCCTEC also provides targeted support for students in special populations to help prepare all learners for employment, further education, and success in today’s global economy.
