iLearn is the new UTHealth Learning Management System. As an organization we recognize that your experience with learning needs to be easy and engaging. Those are two foundational elements of the iLearn system.
The purpose of the mentorship program is to develop employees, enhance leadership skills, and create a strong and supportive culture at UTHealth.
UTHealth offers access to a comprehensive training via LinkedIn Learning. These courses, offer benefits eligible employees a wide variety of training opportunities designed to enhance critical business skills.
You will have two options to activate your LinkedIn Learning account:
1. For active LinkedIn users, you will be prompted to connect your current LinkedIn profile to the LinkedIn Learning account through UTHealth Houston.
When connecting your LinkedIn profile to your LinkedIn Learning account, your personal profile will remain private, and you will maintain control of your account privacy settings. UTHealth will only see your name, job title, email, and new learning history. Additional privacy details are available on LinkedIn.com.
Once you connect your account, you can view your previous learning history and any new courses you take at UTHealth Houston.
2. For new LinkedIn users, this is a great opportunity to create an account. Additional information to sign up for a free LinkedIn account is available at LinkedIn.com. For all users, to activate your LinkedIn Learning account:
Enter the following link into an internet browser: https://go.uth.edu/linkedinlearning
For new users, the option to click the “Sign in with Single Sign-On” blue button will appear.
Enter your UTHealth username and password. If you choose to connect your LinkedIn profile with your LinkedIn Learning account, follow the next steps:
Select “Connect my LinkedIn account.” This action is required to incorporate any previous learning history. Otherwise, it is optional if you do not wish to access previously completed courses.

Management Development Academy is an eight-week course dedicated to provide managers with the skills they need to lead and manage individuals on their team. Participants should have at least one direct report. The course is designed to provide hands-on training for supervisory management. Participants will be equipped with understanding UTHealth policies and best practices. They will also be refreshed and motivated to lead their teams to be cohesive, high-performing and productive.
The Emerging Leaders Institute is designed for newly promoted faculty or staff leaders or existing leaders (mid-career) who have not yet benefited from personal leadership development. Participants receive a personal leadership assessment and profile with engaging group sessions on topics
