Mindset College Ready and GUIDES
Momentum Learning Mini-Grants were designed to support the UT GEAR UP students in Algebra 1, science, and STEM. They are designed to support campuses in strengthening instruction and accelerating student achievement through the use of high-quality instructional tools. This initiative emphasizes effective classroom implementation, teacher capacity building, and measurable progress toward college readiness, particularly in foundational academic areas.

The Momentum Learning Mini-Grant supports campuses in implementing instructional tools that enhance teaching and learning while advancing student achievement goals. Awarded campuses are expected to fully integrate funded resources into classroom instruction and ensure teacher and campus participation in aligned professional development. All projects should demonstrate a clear connection to improved academic outcomes, including success in Algebra 1, math and science achievement, and college readiness benchmarks.

- Monday, May 11, 2026: Momentum Learning application window opens
- Optional Office Hours: Educator Outreach Coaches and grant partners (Texas Instruments and Vernier) will be available to answer any questions
- Wednesday, May 13, 2026, 10:00 AM
- Friday, May 15, 2026, 12:30 PM
- Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 4:00 PM
- Thursday, May 21, 2026, 11:00 AM
- Wednesday, May 27, 2026: Momentum Learning application window closes
- Wednesday, June 3, 2026: Award Notifications Send Out
- August 1, 2026: All award funds must be spent
- September 30, 2026: All awarded campus professional development must be complete
- September 30, 2026: Documentation of purchases provided to IPSI
