Hey, I'm Mike. I'm currently a 3rd year chemistry PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin (hook 'em!!). I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Michigan in 2018 (go blue!!)
I have a broad range of technical skills including:
Computer-assisted design (CAD) using Autodesk Fusion 360
3D printing using both Stratasys and Formlabs platforms
Data analysis and visualization using the R programming language including the development and deployment of machine learning classification models.
Mass spectrometry-based method and application development
I'm a team player and used to working with interdisciplinary teams. For example, during my graduate career I have worked with chemists, surgeons, pathologists, and biomedical engineers.
I am also an associate in the Texas Venture Labs Practicum where I have worked as a graduate student consultant and provided free high-impact consulting hours to two Austin-based startups:
