AIAA's student events are filled with various industry professionals and faculty from the local Austin area. These events give students an opportunity to get to know more about the growing aerospace industry of Austin while developing major contacts that help students in their future careers.

At AIAA, we’re committed to giving back to the community through meaningful volunteer work. Each semester, our members participate in service projects that support local organizations and make a real impact through hands-on service and outreach. 

AIAA competes in annual space & aircraft design competitions that give students hands-on engineering experience in a collaborative setting. These teams are especially valuable for underclassmen looking to build technical skills early in their academic journey. Members work together on various projects, applying classroom knowledge to real-world problems.
