GI2C aims to analyze and understand how people interact with computer systems in their day to day life, to propose interactive tools, models, etc. for the tasks performed by such people.

The group is made up of professionals from various areas of Informatics and Computer Science. Software Engineering, Intelligent Data Analysis and Human-Machine Interaction are three of the disciplines that converge in this group for the generation of new knowledge, although without excluding other related disciplines.
