“What´s your c@de” 3-day program 15-17 dec-20
Day 1 Cityguide/nearby surroundings
Webinar at 9-11 o'clock (10-12 o'clock Greek time) where we all meet on zoom and Sweden says welcome to everybody. The students talk to each other in breakup rooms.
Questions:
Introduce yourself by telling your name, age, what country you live in, what you like to do after school at your leisure time and a place you like to be at/a place that makes you feel good.
After the introduction let everyone answer the questions below. Let everybody answer one question before you take the next question.
What is your favorite snack?
What has been interesting to work with or as you have done that has to do with the project “What's your c@de”?
What do you know about each other's countries? Music, food, celebrities ... What do you think of when you think of the country?
Teach each other how to say hello and goodbye in each other's languages.
How is your school day and your leisure time affected due to covid-19?
What do you long to do when covid-19 no longer limits us?
Other questions you would like to ask.
After the students have talked to each other are students from Italy going to show us how to make QR-codes and cityguides.
After the webinar the day continuous with:
Students write some questions to each country's students. The questions should be about something that you would like to know about the country/school before you go there for a group meeting.
Questions are asked in following order: SW to GR, GR- IT, IT-PL, PL- LT, LT- SW
Write down 5 questions:
… Favorite sports...Mc Donalds in your town… What do you do at 19:00?
Make a city guide in every country. The students take pictures or make short movies from each country's city and the surroundings, history sites and sites that show the city. Due to prevailing circumstances, some students study at a distance. This allows them to show their surroundings when they live for example take a picture from their window or their garden/courtyard.
The materials are presented in QR-codes at eTwinning.
Day 2 healthy living:
The day's fokus is healthy e-sport and physical sport by talking about food, sleep and exercise. What do we need to have a healthy living? Let the students discuss in small groups and then make a document together with the result. The teachers add to the discussion what the students may have missed about the subject. This is used as a basis for the next task.
Make an obstacle race by using programing-thinking in an analog way. Discuss about different commands that can be used in programming a game, for example go straight ahead, jump up a hill, run, turn right. We will create an obstacle course with various exercises such as push-ups, jumps, balancing. In this way we use different commands similar to programming. Write down different kinds of exercises, in small groups. Put them in an order, try in different ways, and try the race.
Make an exercise diary of the last week. A way to make the students aware of their health based on the parameters sleep, exercise and diet.
Share the day on eTwinning.
Day 3 healthy living:
Make healthy food. A couple of snacks and a slow cook dinner.
Translate the recipes into English and put on eTwinning.
Webinar at 11 o'clock (12 o`clock Greek time) where every country says something about the week.
Go for a walk in nature.
Answer the questions you got the first day and send them back to the “your country”.
