Elections for Board of Directors is held every two years, in even numbered years, in the month of February.
Suggested 5 year Sobriety Requirement
The duties and responsibilities of the Board of Directors shall include:
(1) to see that all
requirements are met that are necessary to insure that the Utah Valley Central Office is in
compliance with all applicable state laws governing Non-Profit Corporations,
(2) to act as a
member of the Central Office Committee and Steering Committee,
(3) to take an active part on the
Central Office Committee by exercising their voice and vote at the meetings of the Committee,
(4)
to see that all functions of the Central Office are in accordance with its Articles of Incorporation,
and (5) to elect any and all changes in the Articles of Incorporation at such times as changes
become necessary.
(5) Each Trustee shall oversee one of the Standing Committees offering guidance and support.
Number of Directors
The Board of Directors shall consist of three (3) elected members and one (1) alternate.
Members of the Board of Directors shall serve for a two-year term subject to recall by the Central
Office Committee which he/she serves and may be re-elected at the end of each two-year term.
