Welcome to Language Arts 12! I am so excited to have you with me this semester.  I look forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve your goals for Language Arts.  You can expect to have a great time learning more about yourself through reading, writing, speaking, and listening as we study fiction and non-fiction texts.

At the end of this course, you should be able to say that you have mastered these five things:

1. I can read, comprehend, and analyze  grade level  fiction and non-fiction text. 

2. I can write for any task, audience or purpose.

3. I can communicate effectively using a variety of electronic means.

4. I can present information in a clear, logical, and convincing manner.

5. I can use correct grammar, usage and spelling in my written work.
