This is the class page for Participation Skills and Techniques. We will be working together to learn about physical fitness, healthy living and being active! Please read below to find out more about our standards for the course, as well as grading and frequently asked questions.
In this course, you will be graded in two parts:
50% of your grade.
Plan on spending about 30 minutes working on the online coursework each week. You have three attempts on each quiz, and your highest score will be kept, which gives you great control over your grade.

50% of your grade.
You must complete 40 hours of physical activities throughout the course (you may not count your activity hours you completed before this semester started.)
You may choose any activities that you enjoy! Running, basketball, football, biking, swimming, hiking, walking, weight-lifting, yoga, Zumba, etc. (anything that raises your heart rate) are acceptable.
If you join the class late, just remember what matters most is that you log your 40 hours by the course end date.
A 93-100% C+ 77-79% D- 60-62%
A- 90-92% C 73-76% F 0-59%
B+ 87-89% C- 70-72%
B 83-86% D+ 67-69%
B- 80-82% D 63-66%
You must complete 40 hours of physical activities and log them in the Edgenuity Fitness Log for credit. (20 hours for .25 credit courses)

Please Note: You MUST log your exercise in the Edgenuity Fitness Log. No log submitted in Edgenuity means no credit for the course.
Please Note: You may enter as many exercise logs as you'd like, but the maximum amount of time you should go between entries is 2 weeks. You MAY NOT submit one entry that says 40 hours.
