A good way to check your progress is to look at your current grade and ask yourself: βIf this were my final grade, would I be happy with it?β If the answer is no, keep working to complete missing assignments and improve your scores.
Canvas is the best place to check your most accurate current grade. Grades on your dashboard update approximately three times each day, so there may be a short delay before your latest work appears.
Your Actual Grade in Canvas reflects your completed work in relation to the course due dates. Zeros are added for assignments that are past their due dates and have not been completed. This means your Canvas grade shows how you are doing based on the course schedule, not just the work you have submitted.Β
Your Relative Grade Date is approximately two weeks before the final course deadline. If you follow the course due dates, you should be finished by this date.
When the course changes to Relative Grade, any assignments you have not completed will show as zeros. These zeros are placeholders that show what your grade would be if you stopped working at that point. You can still complete the missing work and improve your grade before the final deadline.
