My name is Jana Stevens and I love science.  I have my bachelors degree in Biology Secondary Education from Dixie State University (Now Utah Tech).  I also have my Masters of Arts in Science Education Secondary Physics degree from Western Governors University. I have been teaching 7th grade science and STEM at Fossil Ridge Intermediate School for 8 years.  I am excited for this new adventure of teaching online. 

I was born in Idaho and moved to St. George when I was young.  I married my best friend and I am a mother of 3 boys, 1 girl.  I have lived in many different places in Utah for work and school but I am happy to be back in St. George.  

In my free time you can find me watching shows while I paint by number, or listening to an audio book/true crime podcast while I put together puzzles. I love to travel (I'm trying to go to all 50 states before I'm 50), hike with my dogs, kayak, paddle board, and try new foods. 

I love teaching and am excited to help you understand the exciting world of physics and/or astronomy.
