I am so excited to have you in my class this semester! I look forward to getting to know each of you and helping you achieve your goals! This class will provide you with the basic skills and information needed to begin a personalized exercise program and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

You must complete physical activity hours throughout the course (you may not count your activity hours you completed before this semester started.)
40 hours is required for FALL and SPRING .5 credit courses
20 hours is required for FALL and SPRING .25 credit courses
30 hours is required for SUMMER .5 credit courses
15 hours is required for SUMMER .25 credit courses
You may choose any activities that you enjoy! Running, basketball, football, biking, swimming, hiking, walking, weight-lifting, yoga, Zumba, etc. (anything that raises your heart rate) are acceptable.
If you join the class late, just remember what matters most is that you turn in total hours by the end of the course.
Filling out the 'Submit TOTAL Exercise Hours' assignment is key because that is where I look to see how many hours you've done so far this semester. This will be located near the end of your course.
HERE is the log you will copy and use throughout the semester to keep track of your hours.
Your parent/guardian will be required to type their name at the end of the assignment to verify your exercise hours.
GRADING SCALE:
Passing Threshold: 60% (to move past quizzes and tests)
